Welcome to my site! I’m an author, a magazine writer, and an enthusiastic commenter on feminism, race, weird natural cures, and other random stuff, in addition to being one meticulous, pain-in-the neck, send it back 1,000 times editor. I’ve edited and contributed work to two books, and am in the process of trying to commit to one voice for my work-in-progress novel. I hope you’ll come back for excerpts, news, and my ongoing blog about Latin life and other musings that may come to mind.

Stay tuned as we populate it with ideas and news about my writing.  Please contact me if you have anything specific you’d like to see.

You can file that one in my spam folder, right under “Lose 30 pounds in 10 weeks” and “Earn $60 an hour, without having to leave your house!” I haven’t [...]

Why Cinco de Mayo is more than just a frat-boy tequila fest for me this year.
